Aanderaa WLR 7 Water Level Recorders
This is a rugged, self contained precision instrument to be placed on the seabed to calculate water level by means of precise measurements of hydrostatic pressure. Data is stored onto an EEPROM module within the instrument, and can be later downloaded to P.C.

Aanderaa RCM 7 Current Meter
This is a self-contained instrument that can be moored in the sea and records ocean current, water temperature, and conductivity of the water.

Aanderaa WLR 8 Water Level Recorders - 700 KPA and 14 MPA
This is a deep sea version of the WLR7, capable of measuring o water level of up to 6000 psi.

Valeport 740 Tide Gauge
The Model 740 is a small, cost effective Water Level Recorder or Tide Meter, specifically designed for applications where the user simply requires an accurate record of water height, rather than the more sophisticated tide gauges that Valeport offer. Suitable for use in fresh or salt water, the 740 can be deployed for up to 2 years, dependant on the sampling rate, with instrument set up and data retrieval via PC software supplied. Alternatively, the system can be supplied with radio modules for real time data transmission.

Valeport BFM 803 Current Meter
The Model 803 ROV Direct Reading Current Meter is a unique instrument, providing ROV pilots with relative water velocity data in real time. It may be fitted to ROVs to provide actual through the water speeds, or fitted to Tether Management Systems to give a measurement of local flow conditions. The selection of output options make interfacing easy, and data may be displayed using the software supplied. Available in both 500m acetal and 3000m titanium versions, the Model 803 is an extremely durable, reliable method of measuring current speeds in a wide variety of underwater vehicle applications.

Valeport BFM 108 MkIII Current Meter
A direct reading, vector averaging current meter with surface readout unit and 200m cable. The unit can also be operated via a short lead, over an ROV umbilical. The Model has been developed to meet the needs of oceanographers, hydrographers and surveyors. Speed and Direction sensors are fitted as standard, with optional Conductivity, Temperature and Depth sensors.

Valeport BFM 308 Mk3 Current Meter
The BFM308 is a direct reading and/or self-recording current meter, with high accuracy, flexibility of configuration and large memory capacity. The Model 308 has been developed using proven industry standard sensors to meet the needs of oceanographers, hydrographers and surveyors who require an accurate current meter with flexibility of configuration and large memory capacity, which can output data directly to a PC and can be used in both self recording and direct reading modes with a variety of cables. All data is compatible with Valeport's DataLog™ software

Valeport 106 Current Meter
The Model 106 Direct Reading Current Meter is a light-weight, cost effective impeller current meter, designed for real time current measurement or short to medium term autonomous deployments. Titanium construction ensures durability, and the optional temperature and pressure sensors increase the versatility of the instrument. It is ideal for use in rivers and coastal applications, or from small boats, the Model 106 is simple to use with either the Windows based PC software supplied, or an optional dedicated display unit.

Aanderaa RCM9 MkII Current Meter
The RMC 9 Self Recording Current Meter, can be used in the sea, in oceans, in lakes and in rivers and its special technical features, such as narrow beam, compact design and type of integration makes it especially well suited for operation in the wave zone. An artic temperature range ensures proper operation in the Polar Regions. The RCM 9 is a unique self contained instrument that can be moored in the sea for long periods of time. The standard version measures the horizontal current speed and direction as well as temperature and utilises the well-known Doppler shift principle as the basis for its measurements.

Valeport CTD 600 Mk3 Conductivity, Depth and Temperature Unit
The CTD600 Mk 3 is a direct reading and/or self-recording Conductivity, Depth and Temperature unit (CDT) with a high accuracy and large memory capacity. The fish can be connected directly to a P.C using a current loop converter, or to a surface display unit which can then be connected to a P.C. Various additional sensors can be fitted to give temperature, pressure and conductivity.

Valeport CTD 604 Conductivity, Depth and Temperature unit.
The Model 604 self recording and/or direct reading Conductivity, Depth and Temperature unit (CDT) is the latest in the range of the Valeport 600 series CTD's. Rated for use at up to 3000m depths, and using technologically advanced sensors, the Model 604 meets the needs of oceanographers, hydrographers and surveyors who require an accurate, easy to use CTD with both Direct Reading and Self Recording capabilities.

Valeport Modus SVS ROV Sound Velocity Probe
The Modus SVS Sound Velocity Sensor utilises advanced Digital Signal Processing techniques to take the Time of Flight, method of sound speed measurement to new heights. The new sensor is able to resolve sound measurements to 0.01 m/s with an accuracy of ±0.05m/s (±0.03m/s rms) over the working range of temperature and pressure.

Valeport SVP 650 Sound Velocity Profiler Mk 1
A Self Recording & Direct Reading Sound Velocity Profiler, which combines the proven operation of the 600 Series CTDs with Valeport’s new Sound Velocity Sensor to give unsurpassed Speed of Sound measurement. This is a sound velocity sensor, with a data resolution of 0.001m/s, and an accuracy of +0.05m/s (+0.03m/s rms).

Valeport CTD 606 Profiler (Midas CTD)
The MIDAS CTD (previously known as the Model 606) is Valeport's premier Conductivity, Depth and Temperature unit (CDT) Profiler. High accuracy sensors and robust titanium design allow reliable operation to 5000m depth, under the harshest conditions. It also features truly synchronised sampling to ensure that all sensors are sampled at exactly the same point during a profile.

Valeport miniIPS (100m, 1000m & 3000m depth rating)
The miniIPS is a precision underwater pressure sensor; 0.01% accuracy, a titanium housing and a choice of pressure ranges make it a cost effective solution for offshore engineers, vehicle pilots, and other operators who require highly accurate depth information in real time. The miniIPS is also compatible with Valeport's MIDAS BathyPack and BathyLog software, allowing the depth data to be continually updated for Density variations in the water column. The pressure sensor fitted to the mini IPS is a revolutionary temperature compensated piezo-resistive sensor, which delivers the performance previously only available from a resonant quartz sensor at a more cost-effective price. It also brings the advantages of long term stability, allowing longer intervals between calibration, and a smaller and more robust construction; complex and vulnerable arrangement of diaphragms and oil filled capillaries & reservoirs are no longer necessary.

Paroscientific 8CDP Digiquartz Intelligent Depth Sensors - 60m, 270m, 2000m, 4000m
The Paroscientific 8CDP Series Intelligent Digiquartz® Depth Sensors provide the ultimate in precision water level measurement. Typical application accuracy of 0.01% is achieved even under difficult environmental conditions. The remarkable performance of these depth sensors is achieved through the use of precision quartz crystal resonator whose frequency of oscillation varies with pressure-induced stress. A quartz crystal temperature signal is provided to thermally compensate the calculated pressure and achieve high accuracy over a broad range of temperatures. The depth sensors include waterproof housings with integral shock protection.

Digiquartz Software
The Digiwatch program is new software developed by Ashtead Technology in conjunction with Pisys Ltd. It has been designed to make the reading, display and logging of RS232 digiquartz pressure transducers simpler and more user friendly.

Seabird CTD Profiler SBE19 600m, 1000m, 2000m, 3000m
This Self Recording Conductivity, Depth and Temperature unit (CTD) profiler gives fast accurate water column profiles of salinity, temperature, density and sound velocity. Data is stored onto RAM, and subsequently downloaded to P.C. using graphing/plotting programs.

Seabird Seagauge SBE26 Wave & Tide Recorder
The Seagauge Wave & Tide Recorder combines Sea-Bird's reliable semiconductor-memory electronics, stable time base, precision thermometer, and quartz-crystal pressure sensor to provide wave and tide recording of unprecedented resolution and accuracy, along with high-quality temperature information. A second input connector for a conductivity sensor is also standard.

Seabird SBE 23 Dissolved Oxygen Sensor
The SBE 23B Dissolved Oxygen sensor uses a "Beckman" type polarographic element to provide in-situ measurements at depths up to 3,400 or 6,800 meters with optional housing. The sensor's sealed electrolyte\membrane cartridge is replaceable. The SBE 23 is easy to install, service, and calibrate, since the sensor element and interface electronics are a modular, selfcontained package. It is also well suited to many custom instrumentation applications. The sensor also contains a sensor for the purpose of determinating internal temperature.

Seabird SBE 43 Dissolved Oxygen Sensor
The SBE 43 sets a new oxygen measurement standard for oceanographic research. The sensor, for Conductivity, Depth and Temperature units (CTD), is a Clark polarographic membrane type in which careful choices of materials, geometry, and sensor chemistry are combined with superior electronics interfacing and calibration methodology to yield major gains in performance.

Applied Microsystems SVP16
The SVP-16 is a lightweight, rugged, intelligent, mini sound velocity profiler that records high resolution sound velocity profiles of water column to depths of 1000 meters. Sound velocity is measured directly using a "sing-around" velocity sensor, it is calculated from other measured parameters. A built-in microprocessor and program enable samples to be logged at pre-determined depth increments or for changes in sound velocity greater than 1m/sec.

Odom Digibar SVP
The Digibar Pro is the most cost-efficient and accurate means of determining water column sound velocities. It quickly calibrates acoustic systems regardles of sea stae or current, and is faster and safer than the traditional bar check method. Digibar Pro uses "sing-around" technology, which automatically compensates for all factors influencing sound velocity, including salinity, depth and temperature.

Valeport MIDAS CTD+
Valeport applies its unique distributed processing technology to the MIDAS CTD+ (formerly known as Model 606+), resulting in the multiparameter CTD that is essentially tailor made to suit each customer’s requirements. The instrument is able to accept any combination of a range of industry standard sensors, giving calibrated data in both autonomous and real time operations. A choice of titanium or acetal construction makes it suitable for coastal of deep water operations, and the intuitive software allows a range of both simple and complex sampling regimes. Valeport MIDAS SVX2 Combined SVP/CDT
The MIDAS SVX2 is the latest version of Valeport's unique instrument. Recognising the conflict faced by users requiring the superior Sound Velocity data from an SVP, but still needing the Salinity and Density data from a CTD, the MIDAS SVX2 combines both technologies to give the best of both worlds. Now fitted with a 0.01% pressure sensor as standard, the SVX2 also uses synchronised sampling to ensure perfect profiles, and since the digital time of flight SV sensor is the most accurate in the world, it’s also possible to compare the true sound velocity data with that generated by commonly used equations.

Vaisala PTB220 Barometer (Class A)
Vaisala BAROCAP® Digital Barometer PTB220 is designed for measurements in a wide environmental pressure and temperature range. The barometers are ideal to be used e.g. as ship barometers, as transfer standards, in weather stations and as replacements for mercury barometers.

Sonardyne Lightweight Command Unit
The Sonardyne Lightweight Command Unit (LCU) is a "Smart" Transducer, with a microcomputer synthesised single channel receiver and transmitter. The LCU has a hemispherical transducer and is powered by a built in rechargeable battery pack. The compact underwater unit is suspended on a load bearing cable and is controlled by RS 232 communications from a Psion Organizer housed in a splash proof box.

Sonardyne ORT Release
The Sonardyne Oceanographic Release Transponder (ORT), Type 7409, is an acoustic release which will operate following a sequence of commands provided by the Sonardyne Lightweight Command Unit (LCU) type 7663.

The Type 7869 Heavy Duty Release Frame has been designed as a optional extra for all Sonardyne 7409 Oceanographic Release Transponders and Type 7710 Deep Oceanographic Release Transponders. The frame can easily be assembeld in the field and in most cases, fitted without any modification to the transponder itself.
