Geo Acoustics Sidescan Sonar
The GeoAcoustics Dual Frequency Side Scan Sonar system is the ideal tool for seabed feature mapping, offering flexibility and high quality results in a simple and reliable package. The system offers high resolution, switch selectable, dual frequency operation (100/410 kHz), which when combined with multiplexed data transmission enables a low drag co-axial tow cable to be used. This also facilitates simple installation onto remotely operated vehicles (ROV's) and combined systems towfish. The versatility, ease of operation and cost effectiveness of the system has made it a popular choice with commercial survey companies.

GeoAcoustics GeoChirp
The GeoChirp is a sub-bottom profiling system for high-resolution shallow geophysics, combining state of the art electronics with standard proven technology. The "chirp" concept uses advanced frequency modulation (FM) and digital signal processing (DSP) techniques to attain good penetration of the sub-bottom layers whilst achieving higher resolution records than previously possible. The maximum operating depth of the standard GeoChirp system is 600 meters, but options are available to extend this to 1800 meters.

The GeoAcoustic Thermal Printer, is a general, all-purpose image printer that provides fast, high quality photographic images. The jitter free operation and the precise positioning of each dot guarantee that each image is sharp and clearly defined.

EPC 1086 Thermal Printer
The EPC Model 1086NT is latest advancement in thermal printing technology. Building on EPC’s proven GSP-1086 architecture, the 1086NT integrates networking capabilities for data input and output, and remote control applications. Configured as TCP/IP host, the recorder exposes a simple socket interface to receive data and commands from a node on any LAN or Internet connection. Full access to the unit’s vast command set is provided through a high-level programming interface (API). This greatly reduces system interfacing costs by giving the system integrator an out-of-the-box solution that takes hours, not days, to implement.

272TD Sidescan Fish
The model 272 Saf-T-Link Towfish is a hydro dynamically stable towed body, which contains the electronics and transducers necessary to generate and receive side scan signals. It is designed for use with the 260-TH Side Scan Sonar Thermal Recorder at depths up to 600m. Various tow cable systems provide the mechanical means for towing the fish near the seafloor and the electrical means for powering the fish, triggering the transmitters, and sending the return signal to the topside model 260-TH for processing and display.

260TH Sidescan Recorder
The model 260 TH image correcting Side Scan Sonar Thermal Recorder is a microprocessor based, dual channel, hard copy display unit. It receives and processes data from 272TD, 990/996 or DF1000 towfish to display in real- time a pictorial view of the seafloor. The resulting image is fully corrected for slant range, ship speed and amplitude giving an accurate plan view of the seafloor topography.

CM800 Sidescan Sonar
The CM800 Sidescan Sonar has an operating range of HF 325kHz. It has a 0.3 degree horizontal 2-way beam and a 70 degree asymmetric vertical beam. Values can be viewed on a 14" VGA color monitor.

Tritech Sidescan POD 675
This is an extremely compact and cost effective high definition sidescan sonar designed for a wide range of seabed survey and inspection duties. In addition to the display of sidescan data, the system will take position input from DGPS. This information is recorded with the sonar data to allow a 'fix' of the target. The customer's own bit map chart may be displayed in a window in the same screen as the sonar data, with an updating sonar position display.

Octopus 360 Processor
The 360 Sub-Bottom Processor is a small digital seismic processor designed for use as a receiver for any single-channel sub-bottom profiling system. (pinger/sparker/boomer/air gun etc). The 360 is designed to combine advanced digital processing with a very simple user interface, suitable for all types of offshore personnel and most types of operating environment, from offshore digital seismic survey to small inshore analogue surveys. The 360 is compact, very easy to use and has an impressive user track record around the world.

Octopus 460 Processor
The 460 Sonar Acquisition System offers a simple alternative for digital side-scan sonar acquisition of sonar imaging and processing work-stations. It offers the essential tools in a simple format, at an affordable price and makes data available for further post-processing if required. The 460 can act as a side-scan receiver for most industry standard side-scan sonars and can store data to any mass storage device via the SCSI bus and has an in-built DAT drive as standard.

Octopus 160 Sonar Interface
The 160 sonar interface provides simple yet fully functional ‘direct connection’ to the popular sidescan sonar towfish from Edgetech, including 272 and 595 models. The 160 is a black box solution requiring the minimum of effort to interface with the Octopus 460 Sonar Acquisition System or any other analogue input sonar display system. Standard towcable connectors allow direct connection to existing cables and BNCs provide all sonar outputs. Triggering requirements are catered for within the 160 and housed in a rugged, die-cast box.

Octopus 760 Processor
Following on from the industry-leading Octopus 360 Sub-Bottom Processor and the 460 Sonar Acquisition Systems , the 760 brings the Octopus geophysical acquisition range right up to date. The 760 incorporates the lastes software, hardware and technology yet still focuses on ease of use and is guaranteed to be compatible with other systems and peripherals.

Seamap Sonar Link SL1
The system provides the same towfish interface functions as the existing conventional sonar recorders but with improved processing of the analog signals received from the tow fish. The analog signal processing card in the SonarLink contains two sets of high performance narrow band filters which are centered on the transmission frequencies and which reduce the level of unwanted spurious noise.

Syslink Trigger Box
The SysLink module provides an interface of three independent channels to synchronize and control seismic data acquisition and processing systems or graphic recorders and their associated geophysical sources. It also provides a portable trigger generator which is equally at home offshore as part of an acquisition system, or onshore as part of a test bench at the base workshop.

Edgetech Full Spectrum Sidescan / Sub Bottom Profiler
This is an integrated modular underwater sonar-mapping package designed for installation on a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV). It gathers side scan and/or sub-bottom data using EdgeTech’s proprietary full spectrum chirp technology in water depths of up to 3000 meters.

Edgetech X Star Sub Bottom Profiler
Edgetech’s X-Star is a wideband FM high-resolution sub-bottom profiler. Full Spectrum technology has several advantages over conventional systems, including increased penetration with high resolution through use of matched filter correlation and waveform weighting techniques.

Edgetech X Star 3100-P Sub-Bottom Profiling System
The 3100-P is EdgeTech’s portable sub-bottom profiling system. It uses Full Spectrum (“chirp”) pulses to create high definition image slices of sub-bottom structure below the bottom. It can be used in rivers, lakes, ponds, and in the ocean. The towfish use special designed transmitters with low Q- wide band characteristics best suited for “chirp” transmissions. Two (2) multi element line array hydro-phones are installed in the tow vehicle to reduce acoustic scattering from the sides. This results in a narrower across/along track beam pattern. A linear power amplifier is used to generate clean, harmonic free transmissions. A portable splash resistant topside case contains the amplifier and other Full Spectrum electronics. A laptop computer running EdgeTech’s DISCOVER sub-bottom software is where the sonar data is displayed and stored. A number of industry standard thermal gray shade printers are supported.

GeoAcoustics Geopulse
The GeoPulse Sub-bottom Profiler is a tried and tested, industry standard sub-bottom profiling system for shallow geophysics. It is highly flexible allowing operation as either a hull mounted deep water system, an "over-the-side mount" system for small boat operations or as a towed system.

G-880 Magnetometer
The high resolution marine cesium Magnetometer system is suitable for all types of production surveys. A new Larmor counter provides direct connection to a host CPU for integrated SideScan or ROV installations. The G-880 is completely digital, unaffected by shipboard noise, easily deployed and simple to operate.

GeoAcoustics Boomer System

Marine Magnetics SeaSPY Magnetometer
