Ambient Air Monitoring
Teledyne/API 100A SO2 Analyzer
The Model 100A provides accurate and dependable measurements of low level sulfur dioxide(SO2), using the proven UV fluorescence principle coupled with state of the art microprocessor technology to provide accurate and dependable measurements of low level S02. Exceptional stability, rugged construction and ease of use make the 100A an ideal tool for ambient air monitoring requirements. A hydrocarbon "kicker" and advanced optical design prevent inaccuracies due to interference Built-in data acquisition allows the logging of multiple parameters, including averaged or instantaneous concentration values, calibration data and operating parameters such as flows, pressure and lamp intensity. Stored data is easily retrieved through the RS-232 port or from the front panel.

Teledyne/API 200A NO/NO2/NOX Analyzer
The Model 200A analyzer provides the sensitivity, accuracy and stability needed for ambient monitoring requirements. This analyzer is a true workhorse that performs reliably under even the harshest operating conditions. Measurements are automatically compensated for temperature, pressure and flow rate. Stability is enhanced by an auto-zero circuit that continuously provides a true zero reference, and the result is a sensitive, accurate and dependable performance. Built-in datalogging allows the logging of multiple parameters, including averaged or instantaneous concentration values, calibration data, and operating parameters such as pressures and flow rates. Stored data is easily retrieved through the RS-232 port or from the front.

Teledyne/API 400A Ozone Analyzer
The sensitivity and flexibility of the Model 400 ozone analyzer make it appropriate for assuring worker safety in environments where ozone is suspected. The microprocessor-controlled instrument produces a true ozone measurement unbiased by interference, and the IZS ozone generator eliminates time-consuming external calibration for many applications. Built-in data acquisition allows logging of multiple parameters, including averaged or instantaneous concentration values and operating parameters such as pressures and flow rates.

Thermo Anderson MIE DataRAM Aerosol Monitor DR-2000
The DataRAM Model DR 2000 Aerosol Monitor measures concentrations of airborne dust, smoke, mists, haze and fumes with real-time readout. The instrument can be used for exposure sampling of ambient air, continuous unattended monitoring of indoor, duct or process air, as well as environmental and perimeter monitoring. The DataRAM has the widest measurement range of any real-time aerosol monitor - from 0.0001 mg/m3 to 400 mg/m3, or a total span of almost seven decades.

Teledyne/API 102A TRS Analyzer
The API model 102A provides a dependable, accurate and convenient method of measuring hydrogen sulfide or Total Reduced Sulfur (TRS) in levels commonly required for Ambient Air monitoring, offering ranges from 0- 50 ppb to 0-2 ppm. Both analyzers convert sulfur gases to sulfur dioxide and measure concentrations using fluorescent technology. The M102A uses a high temperature converter, mounted externally to the analyzer, and operates at a temperature of 800 degrees C. TRS components (typically, H2SS, methyl mercaptan, dimethyl-disulfide and methyl-disulfide) are all converted to SO2 at this temperature, with an efficiency greater than 98%. Sample gas drawn into the analyzer first passes through a scrubber which removes all traces of sulfur dioxide. The converter then converts the components of interest to SO2. The resulting concentration of SO2 is then measured by fluorescence. In the basic configuration, the analyzer may be programmed to read H2S concentration or TRS only. However, a switching option, showing H2S/TRS and SO2 readings alternately, is available. Cycle times may be adjusted, and each reading is truly independent, having it's own calibration slope and offset. A sample and hold circuit provides continual analog outputs for each channel. Calibration is simplified by the optional zero and span valves, which allow direct entry of calibration gases, or the optional permeation tube may be used to provide span checks. The analyzer features auto zero, which provides excellent zero stability.

Thermo Anderson MIE DATARAM 4000
The DataRAM 4 (Model DR-4000) continuously monitors the real-time concentration and median particle size of airborne dust, smoke, mist, and fumes. In addition, air temperature and humidity are displayed. With appropriate particle discriminators it provides measurements correlated with PM10, PM2.5 and respirable fractions. Its patented two-wavelength particle detection system provides the volume median particle diameter of the sampled aerosol, over a concentration range of up to 400 mg/m3. Unlike typical particle counting devices, the DR-4000 is totally immune to particle coincidence errors, even at the highest concentrations. Volume median particle sizes down to 0.05 micron can be measured by this unique spectral nephelometric technique. This patented technique provides a continuous measurement of PM 2.5, independent of particle size and moisture- without heating, diffusion drying, or denuding the sample stream.

ME ML9850B SO2 Analyzer
The ML®9850 Sulphur Dioxide (SO2) Analyzer uses U.V. fluorescence technology to measure concentrations of SO2 accurately and reliably. Featuring a drop down front panel for easy access it includes a built in data display for trends, averages, status and historical information in digital and graphic format. User selectable menu screens provide access to all available options and instrument setup. Extended Memory capacity allows recorded data to be downloaded on site or remotely by utilizing ME - Com utility software on any computer terminal program.

Turnkey Osiris Dust & Particle Monitor
Specifically designed to get close to the sources of pollution, the new Turnkey Osiris airborne particle monitor is capable of being rapidly deployed for short term portable studies or, with the Turnkey Lamp Post Box, undertaking longer term monitoring. Not only does it continuously record and display TSP, PM10, PM2.5 and PM1 particle concentrations, the workplace mode can indicate inhalable respiratory and thoracic concentrations.

Signal StreetBox Urban Pollution Monitor

The StreetBox from Signal provides unobtrusive, accurate measurments of urban pollution levels. Designed primarily for gathering ambient pollution trend information, it is useful for baseline studies where the need for more accurate investigations may be needed.

With an internal memory capacity of 500Kb for several months of data storage, the StreetBox has the ability to record up to 2 gases including CO, NO, NO2 and SO2. An alternative version is able to additionally measure PM10 particulate with a sensitivity of 1µg/m3. Data is downloaded via a license exempt radio link to laptop, negating the need for cables and ladders.

Power for the gas only version is supplied by internal batteries allowing typical monitoring times of up to 6 months, whilst the PM10version requires power from an external source (eg mains or lamp post) as it contains an internal pump.

Constructed from weatherproof plastic and quickly and securely mounted to street furniture, the StreetBox is the ideal rental solution for short to mid term hires.

Photovac Petro Pro
Petro PRO is designed for high speed analysis of BTEX, but can be modified for analysis of a wide range of VOC’s.
