HOUSTON,TX - USA - JULY 2010 - Instrumentation specialist Ashtead Technology is delighted to announce it has been chosen as an official rental partner for a range of advanced emissions monitors from California Analytical Instruments (CAI) Inc.

Under the new agreement customers will be able to rent the newest technology of CAI analyzers, with full technical support, from Ashtead Technology's Center of Excellence for CEMs in Chicago.

Examples of CAI instruments that have been added to the Ashtead Technology rental fleet are the 600M Hydrocarbon Methane/Non-methane analyzer, the 602 Series Infrared CO2 Analyzer and the 650 NOxoygen analyzer for O2, NOx and NO2.

Ashtead Technology's National Sales Manager for CEMs and Specialty Gases, Larry Fisher, said: The new partnership is a good example of the way in which we work with leading manufacturers. We have not simply just added new analyzers to our rental fleet; we have invested in training for our technical support staff so we can be sure that customers rent the right equipment every time.

Another aspect of the partnership agreement is for the Center of Excellence to receive service training on CAIs complete 600 Series line in order to provide faster repair and maintenance of its rental fleet by manufacturer trained technicians.

Ashtead Technology's CEMs Center of Excellence, which opened last year, provides a comprehensive rental fleet of emissions monitoring and ambient air instrumentation, servicing customers nationwide. The facility is manned by a highly-skilled team of technicians, with more than 25 years of combined experience within the CEMs industry.

CAI has been providing quality gas analyzers and systems for industrial, environmental, process and automotive emissions applications across America for the last 25 years.
