| ROV Type Multi-D Handles are cost efficient and durable high-quality units. These handles were built and designed with consideration to the ISO 13628-9 or API 17H international standards and previous offshore experience. These handles can be used with a 3 finger, parallel closing or 4 finger ROV manipulator jaw arrangement. The ROV handles have a 19mm circular cross section which is compatible with the Schilling Robotics jaws, either three finger or parallel closing. Most other manipulators commonly use this grip size.
These ROV handles are used on our products, and stock is held to allow for fast delivery to clients. Having a standardised bolting PCD interface, as per other ROV tooling suppliers, this handle can be swapped onto many third-party products as a spare, or used directly on custom designs, knowing wherever your tool ends up a spare will be close by. 316 stainless steel is used in these cast ROV handles. They can be supplied with an orange coating to conform with the international standard identifying items intended to be grabbed by the ROV. They can also be supplied in raw stainless steel. Coated ROV handles are supplied with full records. The standard coating is hard wearing Xylan. Different coatings are available to customers specifications on an as need basis. These ROV handles can be held offshore as spares to ensure that the ROV system personnel have equipment for customised offshore tooling, or for the installation of an extra location to make ROV operations easier. |
