Available for rental, hire and purchase, the TSI SidePak AM520i is a portable, intrinsically safe, lightweight dust & aerosol monitor which is worn by the operator, giving real time exposure levels for personnel.

Designed for personal air quality monitoring, the TSI SidePak AM520 has a 0.001 to 100 mg/m3 concentration range and can measure PM10, PM5 (China Respirable), PM4 (Respirable), PM2.5, PM1 and 0.8μm Diesel Particulate Matter (DPM) by using the various impactors supplied with the kit. Only one impactor can be used, but can be swapped easily if monitoring another mass fraction is required.

Benefiting from a large screen, the TSI SidePak AM520 displays real-time readings and also has data logging capabilities for additional, offsite reporting. There is also an alarm function (both audible and visual) that can be triggered if a threshold concentration is breached, which is very useful for monitoring personnel operating a potentially hazardous process.

Incredibly robust and unobtrusive, the TSI SidePak AM520 is suitable for a number of working environments including foundries, construction sites, chemical plants, refineries, petrochemical, power and utilities, transportation, aerospace, maritime, confined spaces and mining.

The TSI SidePak AM520 can run for up to 20 hours (depending on set-up) and can also be recharged within 4 hours (based on a fully depleted battery).
