The UCS linear track saw has been developed to perform cuts currently up to 8in deep. The cut depth can also be set, ideal if minimal penetration through the product is required. This unit will provide a fast, accurate and clean cut.
A standard track is 2.2m, however joining tracks together enables the unit to perform a longer continuous straight cut. The fastening brackets can be changed to fix to flat surfaces or to fasten around a tubular or chains. Its slim design means it can be utilised in areas where space is an issue.
The track saw head can also be mounted on the Circumferential Chain Manipulator, which allows it to perform complete circumferential cuts (with or without depth control stops) and can also be used with other UCS equipment to cut “windows” out of tubulars.
The track saw can also be used to carry an abrasive waterjet cutting nozzle or high pressure jetting head to perform cleaning operations.
