Zetechtics Class 1-4 (API 17D) Electric Torque Tool (ETT)

The Jupiter Electric Torque Tool (ETT) is designed for Class 1-4 Rotary Docking interfaces conforming to BS EN ISO 13628-8:2006 ROV interfaces on subsea production systems.

The Electric Torque Tool operates through a dedicated web browser interface, which enables seamless integration with both electric ROV’s and conventional ROV’s via an Intelligent Power Pod (IPP). The standard communication interface is Ethernet 10/100 Base-T.

  • Standard Jupiter tool functions such as pre-set turns, pre-set torque, torque limits, nudge control and emergency stop
  • Maximum working speed: 6 rpm (fully variable)
  • Electrically controlled latches
  • Standard 115VAC ROV supply and Ethernet
  • Comms via Intelligent Power Pod (IPP)
  • IPP features interlocks to protect the ETT against of water ingress, low IR or low compensation
  • ETT can be powered directly from ROVs with suitable DC supply (i.e. without IPP)
  • Detailed diagnostic & alarm features with comprehensive datalogging facilities
  • Class 1-4 valve operations flying lead operations
