Our state of the art calibration laboratories in Aberdeen and Singapore are equipped with the latest instrumentation for the calibration and verification of a variety of sensors.

Survey, positioning and oceanographic sensors with the following parameters: temperature, pressure, conductivity, salinity, speed of sound, heading and inclination can be calibrated.

In addition, we can calibrate the following NDT instruments: gas monitors, CP systems, MPI systems, UT gauges, thickness gauges and FMD systems.

All calibrations are carried out by qualified, trained engineers in accordance with equipment manufacturers specifications.

Aberdeen is the first laboratory to raise its standards and be able to offer UKAS accredited ISO17025 oceanographic instrument calibration (Ref No. 9097).

Verification of Ultrasonic Flaw detectors used to inspect that offshore structures are free from defects has been added to our UKAS accreditation.

Customers can be assured that Ashtead’s calibration service has been independently evaluated by the only accreditation body authorised in the UK, assuring that:

Certification is fit for purpose and performed to internationally recognised standards.

The processes and those performing the work have demonstrated the highest levels of technical competency.

Customers who select UKAS accreditation improve their ability to minimise measurement errors, reducing their project risks  and demonstrate due diligence in the event of disputes or legal action.

Equipment calibration will consistently be to the highest of standard.
