We have an exciting opportunity for a Survey Technician to join our team based in Westhill, Scotland, UK. The primary functions of this position are to provide engineering and technical support for our solutions project team, from proposal to delivery, as per project specific specifications ensuring delivery to the highest levels of customer service.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Solutions Team to provide technical support for project proposals and during customer equipment demos. They will prepare and test equipment for hire, or sale, conduct final quality control checks and produce project technical manuals and FAT procedures.

They will be key to successful project delivery, attending customer meetings and providing technical support for offshore personnel. They will attend vessels for system commissioning and troubleshooting as required, support the purchasing of parts and materials making sure that delivery schedules meet project timescales, maintain project schedules and support logistics, at all times working to ensure that project budgets are met.

The successful candidate will have an HND/Degree in Electronic/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience. You will have a significant track record of experience in a technical role liaising with clients, preparation and testing of electronic equipment, preferably in a subsea environment. You should have an extensive knowledge of subsea equipment. Excellent problem-solving capabilities and strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as a professional attitude, initiative, good time management and organizational skills.
