Ashtead Technology Norway is a leading provider of best-in-class subsea equipment rental and offshore solutions, supporting projects across Norway and the wider North Sea.
Our 2,000 sqm facility serves as a regional hub for ROV tooling, subsea survey technology, asset integrity and mechanical solutions. The site features a dedicated cable moulding workshop, calibration laboratory and an on-site winch test bed capable of supporting up to 50Te.
The facility also offers non-destructive testing (NDT) equipment rental and calibration services, supporting both advanced and conventional inspection techniques for energy and infrastructure projects.
All operations are supported by local, in-house technical and project delivery teams, ensuring fast, reliable mobilisation and expert support for offshore operations.

Cable Moulding
From our Norway facility, we manufacture subsea cables and cable assemblies for ROV and subsea applications, delivering standard, bespoke and fully custom solutions to meet project-specific requirements. Using advanced high-pressure moulding technology, we produce durable, high-integrity cable systems designed for harsh offshore environments.
Capabilities include:
- Moulding of neoprene, polyurethane and polyethylene cables
- Encapsulation and potting of sensors, electronics and junction boxes
- Subsea and topside power, data and HD video cables
- PBOF cable assemblies, mechanical tow terminations and multi-connector breakout cables
Calibration
Our Norway facility is equipped with modern calibration instrumentation to deliver accurate temperature, pressure, sound velocity and conductivity calibration, ensuring equipment performs reliably in the field.
All calibration work is carried out locally by qualified technicians, in line with manufacturer specifications and documented procedures. We maintain accuracy through regular testing and analysis of temperature tanks and PRT probes, supported by full calibration records and traceability for quality assurance.
Non-Destructive Testing Solutions
Our Norway facility now supports a full range of non-destructive testing (NDT) equipment rental and calibration services, enabling clients to deploy advanced inspection technologies with confidence.
The team provides solutions for both conventional and advanced inspection techniques, supported by equipment from leading manufacturers including systems such as the Eddyfi Ectane3 and Olympus OmniScan X4.
