Ashtead Technology are recruiting for a Sales Administrator, based at our Aberdeen facility.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for answering incoming calls and directing the enquiry to the appropriate internal sales person; will acknowledge incoming sales emails immediately before letting the enquirer know which sales person will be responding and will assist with the generation of sales quotations. Additionally, they will liaise on and prepare, to strict deadlines, month end reports; maintain a stock of office consumables; coordinate office service contractors; arrange travel and other administrative requirements.

The preferred candidate must be enthusiastic, have initiative and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise deadlines. Additionally, they will be proficient in MS Office and other bespoke software packages, together with excellent verbal and written communication skills. They may have previous administrative experience, preferably in a sales/technical environment.

Ashtead Technology are recruiting for a Technician, a workshop based position within our Middle East facility in Abu Dhabi.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is prepared, tested, labelled, identified, stored safely, calibrated, packaged and recorded appropriately before delivery and to carry out electrical safety tests, as required by regulations.

Principal accountabilities include being responsible for the preparation of subsea survey equipment, ensuring that equipment is suitable for transport requirements, complete with export documentation. Other duties include recording work orders, ensuring equipment is stored correctly and maintaining the stock control system.

The preferred candidate must have problem solving capabilities in addition to excellent verbal and written communication skills. An HNC/HND/Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering/ other technical discipline and/or equivalent industry experience. And a track record of experience in a Technician/Engineering role undertaking repair, maintenance and testing of electronic equipment, preferably in a subsea environment.
