Global subsea equipment and services company, Ashtead Technology, is seeking a content manager to support the implementation of its marketing strategy. This is an exciting, new role for a proactive, dynamic and creative person to work collaboratively with in-house and external teams.

Working closely with senior management and the marketing manager, you will be responsible for identifying, sourcing and producing compelling content from across the business to support the PR, social media, the website (incl. SEO), internal communications and the development of marketing collateral.

You will have:

  • Several years’ experience in-house or in agency
  • A relevant marketing qualification
  • A track-record of engaging internal and external audiences
  • Experience of working in or for technology or energy / oil and gas companies
  • Excellent writing skills and be able to produce crisp, compelling, accurate copy for different platforms

Subsea equipment specialist, Ashtead Technology is looking for an Electronic Technician to join its onshore team in Houston.

This exciting role offers the opportunity to work for a growing global company. The successful candidate will be tasked to ensure all equipment is prepared, tested, labelled, identified, stored safely, calibrated, maintained and packaged appropriately. To carry out electrical safety tests as required by regulations. To mentor the team and demonstrate leadership in achieving the highest levels of customer service.

An Associate’s or Bachelor Degree in Electronic/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering/other technical discipline and/or equivalent industry experience is necessary for this role. If you are highly motivated, and have experience within a technical environment, Ashtead Technology wants to hear from you.

UCS, an Ashtead Technology company, are a leading provider of offshore decommissioning tooling and are seeking a Design Engineer to provide engineering support. You will be involved in the design of new and existing tooling ensuring that all design engineering conforms to legislation, regulations & standards.

You will give support to all departments including projects, workshop and clients as and when required.

Qualifications: - (Professional, Academic, Technical, Certificates relevant to job function)

Essential: Minimum HND In Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, proficient in SolidWorks is a must.

Preferred: Engineering Degree/ Mechanical Engineering, Cad, AutoCAD etc.

Experience / Competence:

Essential: 3 years minimum experience in design.

Skills / Knowledge:

Essential: Well-developed engineering skills commensurate with developing good working relationships within an engineering design environment.

Preferred: Worked within an organisation that complies with the ISO 9001 / OHSAS 18001 International Standards.

Personnel Qualities:

Dependable, adept at change management, motivated, skilled in all facets of the engineering discipline, able to absorb pressure, ability to prioritise, be a team player.

The Project Coordinator will assist with identification, acquisition, control and execution of work for the Company, in a manner which fully meets the Clients' objectives and maximises the profit for the Company, in line with regulations and standards as well as UCS internal IMS policies and procedures. The role encompasses the full life-cycle of projects and includes fielding Client enquiries, review of invitations to tender and production of quotes, technical and commercial qualification and negotiation, award of work, identification and sourcing of any outsourced supply items, project execution and project termination.

This is a challenging role within a dynamic environment and comes at a time of growth and development for the Company both within the UK and overseas. Full training will be given to the successful candidate on both the equipment and services provided by UCS, and the necessary commercial and contractual skills and knowledge which will be required.

The ideal candidate will have either a technical or commercially qualified background with a keen interest in learning all the skills required for this role. A high priority is placed on attention to detail and willingness to tackle any challenges encountered in the course of the role. Alongside the typical Microsoft Office software packages, and prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX would be considered an advantage. The ideal candidate will likely have 2+ years’ experience within an engineering, commercial or tendering role.
