The ACE 800Te Linear Winch consists of rigid outer framework housing two gripper units, each fitted to a travelling carriage arrangement. Each gripper is actuated by two hydraulic cylinders mounted within the outer framework.
The Linear Winch operates by using two gripping mechanisms to pull in a wire rope. The gripper jaws are interchangeable to allow differing wire diameters to be used.
