The EdgeTech 3400-OTS is an advanced over-the-side pole mount sub-bottom profiler, building on the success of its predecessor. It utilises wide band Frequency Modulated pulses with Full Spectrum CHIRP technology for high-resolution imaging of sub-bottom stratigraphy in oceans, lakes, and rivers. The segmented receiver array allows for standard profiling or “pipeline” mode for buried infrastructure imaging.
The system provides real-time reflection coefficient measurements, enabling complex analytic data collection for sediment analysis. With discrete transmit and receive channels, it ensures continuous data collection, making it particularly valuable for construction and pipeline surveys.
