The pipe end prep tool removes burrs and chamfers from the inner and outer surfaces of a pipeline after it has been cut in preparation for installation of a subsea clamp. The preparation of the edges enables clamp seals to be installed safely and without being damaged. The removal of the internal burrs at the cut area also prevents damage to pigs deployed through the pipe. The tool requires low hydraulic flow enabling ROV operation.
