Available for rental/hire, the Silverwing V400D is a vacuum box for bubble leak testing on corner lap welds or shell to bottom plate welds.
The V400D has a weld inspection length of 400mm and benefits from a special seal design to improve the initial vacuum. To support varying inspection requirements, the V400D can be driven via an electric pump or compressor.
To control the vacuum and ensure the box cannot be damaged the V400D benefits from a calibrated vacuum relief valve. The vacuum box is rated to 20 inHg and has a minimum tank diameter of 5m.
