The V750 vacuum box was completely redesigned with operators and API 650/653 inspection standards in mind. Bubble leak (or vacuum box) testing is an integral part of tank inspections as required by the American Petroleum Institute (API) and other international standards associations to establish the condition of tank bottom plate welds and shell-to-bottom plate welds.
The V750 vacuum box is designed to inspect 750 mm (29.5 in) long welds. It is extremely rugged body, calibrated vacuum gauge and vacuum relief valve, internal LEDs to ensure correct visibility along the test weld and a new seal designed to maximise efficiency and reduce operator fatigue.
